The wePresent start screen needs to be self-explanatory for anyone that walks into your conference space. Often it is recommended to show a step-by-step explanation, immediately explains how-to-use for a variety of users (Win/Mac/mobile, or Local/Guest etc.).
The start screen is a great place to make a separation between a Local or a Guest user. You can give a clear explanation to every user, over which WiFi they should connect, and which software you would like them to use, or install. Customize your start screen so that it applies your specific use case scenario.
Example: When AirPlay is not allowed on your network, then do not list it as an option on the start screen.
Have you furbished your own USB Plug&Show tokens, then clearly mention those on the start screen. etc.
wePresent is customizable in every way, so please 'make it your own'!
Also in visual appearance the wePresent can be shaped into your own presentation system. You can easily adopt your company visual identity on the start screen, and when there is a clear explanation on-screen, there will be no more calls to the IT department needed.
Keeping visual identity, separating Local/Guest traffic, while offering a clear step-by-step solution is very well possible. To give you an idea, please see some examples of wePresent start screens below:
